Wireless Liquor Measuring Systems

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Beverage Tracker restrict the amount of liquor I can pour?

No. Beverage Tracker is a free-pour system that allows you to pour as much liquor as you want. It does not restrict or control pours.

Will my bartenders and staff have to change the way they work in order to use the Beverage Tracker system.

No. The unobtrusive Beverage Tracker system works like your current pour spouts. Bartenders simply pour a drink and the information in the spouts is wirelessly transmitted to the PC receiver via the antenna.

Is there a limit to the amount of liquor bottles I can monitor?

No. The Beverage Tracker system can cover your entire bar operation by simply placing a wireless spout on each and every liquor bottle you wish to monitor.

If I have a large bar, will I need more than one receiver to collect and process the pour information?

No. You only need one receiver for any size bar. If you have multiple bar areas, you simply install an antenna in each bar and connect them to the receiver.

Do I have to wait until the end of a shift or the end of the day to view my liquor data?

No. The Beverage Tracker system is real-time, so you can view your data in the Beverage Tracker Desktop Application at any time.

What happens if a bartender tries to circumvent the system by removing a spout from a liquor bottle?

As soon as somebody removes a spout, the spout's engage/disengage feature will send a signal to the receiver identifying when it was removed and when it was replaced.

Will the Beverage Tracker system work with any liquor brand or type?

Yes. Each spout can be programmed to work with any brand or liquor type.

What if I have two of the same brands of liquor bottles in my bar, will Beverage Tracker identify each individual bottle?

Yes. Each spout has its own unique serial number so Beverage Tracker will capture pour data from each spout.

What if a new brand of liquor becomes available, will I be able to add it to Beverage Tracker?

Yes. You may add any new liquor types and/or brands to your Beverage Tracker system via the Beverage Tracker Desktop Application.

How do I clean the Beverage Tracker spouts?

Our spouts are completely waterproof, so you can wash them in hot, soapy water just as you would with your regular pour spouts.

Not all liquor bottles have the same spout opening, so do the Beverage Tracker spouts have different cork sizes to accommodate larger diameters?

Yes. We have several different cork sizes, which can easily be placed on an existing wireless spout.

Will security systems or other wireless signals interfere with Beverage Tracker?

No. Beverage Tracker transmits on a low-frequency AM band that will not interfere with any other electronic devices you may already have installed.

How long do the spouts last?

Typically the battery will last for 3 years.

Can the battery be replaced?

No. The battery is sealed on the plastic housing to prevent water penetration and to prevent product tampering.

How do I know when a battery is no longer functioning?

There is a battery voltage sensor in each spout. Every time it transmits the software records each spout’s battery level. By running a Spout Battery Report you know which batteries are failing.

Will the spout work with cordials and crèmes?

Yes. Each spout contains a temperature sensor which differentiates if the cordial or crème is refrigerated. This maintains pouring accuracy even with thick liquids.

Can a spout be changed to a different bottle?

Yes. The unique spout number simply needs to be assigned to the new brand in the software.
